Hiking trails are extremely abundant in Colorado. From the local river front to the deepest forest, there is something for everyone. It's always exciting to just get out and see what you see! From the 20 minute stroll down by the local park to the 10 hour round trip on a 14er. One thing to always remember is to tell someone where you are going and when you will be back. No one wants to think about it but anything can happen and if you don't return by the scheduled time someone can come looking for you. It's amazing how many lives have been saved just by this one simple thing.

Also remember to take a camera with you. It's a great way to show off where you have been.
