Grand Mesa National Forest

Grand Mesa National Forest is located in Western Colorado and spans Garfield, Mesa, and Delta Counties. The White River National Forestborders it to the north and the Gunnison National Forest to the southeast. The total acreage is 346,555 and is managed by the USFS together with the Gunnison and Uncompahge National Forests from the office located in Delta, CO.

The majority of the GMNF is located atop the GrandMesa, one of the largest flat top mountains in the world. Established campgrounds are abundant and range from $12 to $18 per night.
